Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Hotel Oasis, nestled in the enchanting Panarea, I had the pleasure of experiencing their culinary offerings. The hotel features two exclusive restaurants, each offering a unique take on local and Mediterranean cuisine. I started my mornings at Ristorante da Pina, where I enjoyed a breakfast spread that varied from fresh breads to delightful Sicilian pastries. The ambiance, especially on the upper terrace, was refreshing, with views of the surrounding gardens that created a peaceful start to the day. In the evening, I dined at Calajunco, which truly captured the essence of outdoor dining. The candle-lit terraces overlooking the sea provided a cozy yet elegant setting. I sampled various grilled seafood dishes that were expertly prepared, showcasing the best of Aeolian flavors. These culinary creations were paired with local wines that elevated the dining experience further. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring my dining experience was pleasant. The locations of both restaurants, along with their respective menus, made them a highlight of my visit. This hotel's commitment to quality food in an idyllic setting is apparent, making it a rewarding culinary stop for anyone visiting the area.
